Detroit Swindle are Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets, 2 guys that, without actually growing up together, have had practically an identical musical upbringing. Their debut in 2012 brought them releases on Huxley's imprint Saints & Sonnets, Dirt Crew, Murmur and the immaculate Freerange Records. Already playing Live & DJ sets at mayor venues like Panorama Bar, Tresor and Zoo Project, Detroit Swindle have rapidly earned a solid spot in the international nightlife. An astonishing seven years has now elapsed since the release of James Holden's milestone debut album The Idiots Are Winning in 2006, rightfully acclaimed in such quarters as The Guardian as “The most astonishing debut in electronic music since Boards of Canada's Music Has The Right To Children”. But June 2013 sees Holden finally return in a big way, with a brand new artist album of suitably epic proportions: 75 minute long English pagan saga The Inheritors. A bold,psychedelic journey, striking a delicate balance between weighty tome and transformative trip, and with a production aesthetic that is all his own: Holden is certain that this is the album that he always wanted to make. Will Saul Artist Page is the producer and DJ behind Simple Records and Aus Music. Over the years Will has gained an admirable reputation as not only a show- stealing DJ, but also a talented A&R and producer. Will’s most recent album project, Close, is scheduled for release on !k7 in June. The album features production collaborations with Scuba, Appleblim, October & Ewan Pearson and vocals from Joe Dukie of Fat Freddies Drop, Peacefrog artist Charlene Soraia, Fink and Tikiman.
